We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to help support the technology, systems, and tools that keep our staff, members, volunteers, and programs running smoothly. This full-time position assists with technical support, information management, software applications, network connectivity, hardware and software needs, documentation, and technology inventory across the association.

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent service and technical support to staff, members, volunteers, and guests.

Support the Y’s internal network, software applications, desktop hardware, peripherals, and related systems.

Assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, training requests, and technology-related questions.

Help ensure appropriate security practices for information systems, agency data, and member, participant, and donor information.

Support technology inventory, including hardware and software procurement, record keeping, and disposal.

Create training documentation, standard operating procedures, and onboarding materials.

Identify opportunities to improve technology tools, systems, and processes.

Participate in staff meetings, vendor meetings, community meetings, and special events as needed.

Candidates must be able to work in person at our Onalaska and La Crosse locations.

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in computer science, information management, or a related field preferred.

1+ years of related experience preferred.

Experience supporting local applications, networks, security practices, and systems preferred.

Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Windows 10/11 operating systems preferred.

Ability to troubleshoot computer peripherals, including monitors, keyboards, wireless devices, printers, and related equipment.

Knowledge of VOIP phones, cloud controller management, AV systems, and current IT trends is a plus.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work positively with staff, members, volunteers, and community partners.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to technology setup and support.
