The City of La Crosse is seeking a full-time Building Representative to prepare the La Crosse Center for events by providing set-up and tear-down, general building and grounds custodial duties, snow removal, routine building maintenance tasks and providing lead janitor/maintenance guidance to a casual labor staff.
Responsibilities- Set up and tear down events at the La Crosse Center.
- Perform general building and grounds custodial duties.
- Remove snow and carry out routine building maintenance tasks.
- Provide lead janitor/maintenance guidance to casual labor staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years progressively responsible janitorial/maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays; position will mostly work during evenings/overnights.
