Holmen Cheese has an exceptional opportunity to join our team as a Cager
/
De-Cager
Warehouse Team Member. In this role your primary focus will be putting blocks of production in and out of cages. It is a fast pace, physical position with the occasional use of a stand-up lift truck. The work often happens in our cooler.

• Cage and De-Cage product to prepare it for shipping
• Use a vacuum lift assist device to move product
• Palletize product to prepare for shipping
• Ensure security of warehouse (doors sealed, lights in working order, docks plates and levelers in good condition)
• Drive stand up forklift to load according to load sheet
• Load and unload trucks
• Ensure production has the needed materials ready for their production runs
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work are met
• Ensure a high degree of detail and quality on every job
• Control and organize storage and inventory space
• Inspects trucks for appropriate sanitary conditions on all incoming and outgoing shipments. Fill out inbound/outbound inspection documentation
• Ensure seals are placed on all out-going shipments and ensure seals are intact on in-coming shipments. Prepare bills of lading inclusive of product information, common carrier information, seal number and temperature requirement.
• HACCP Team Member

• High School Diploma required.
• 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse environment
• Experience working within an ERP system
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP software, required
