Position: Welder -1st and 2nd Shift Available

Job Requirements Essential Functions

  • Set up components for welding according to specifications.
  • Operate welding equipment (MIG primarily, TIG experience a plus).
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Observe and inspect parts to ensure quality specifications are met.
  • Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
  • Comply with all PPE requirements, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety‑toed shoes.
  • Assist in other production areas as needed or related activities assigned by supervisor.
  • Present and maintain positive morale among employees.
  • Thoroughly understand and adhere to the department goals, objectives, and strategy.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical background.
  • Certification or apprenticeship preferred.
  • Proven experience as a welder (minimum 1‑3 years).
  • Proficiency with welding tools and techniques.
  • Flexible, energetic, forward‑thinking, and creative, with high moral and ethical standards.
  • Well organized and self‑directed.
  • Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Able to relate to people at all levels of the organization in a positive fashion.
Working Conditions &

Physical Requirements
  • Mobility: standing continuously; walking frequently; sitting occasionally; bending/stooping occasionally; kneeling occasionally.
  • Lifting/carrying: lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; carry up to 20 lbs frequently; push/pull up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Hand/arm movements: reaching overhead occasionally; reaching forward frequently.
  • Vision:
    Must have the ability to observe and distinguish defects in parts at arm's length and determine if further processing is necessary.
