This position is responsible for planning preventive electrical maintenance, repair work, and project work to support a 24/7 high-speed manufacturing facility. This position directs and supervises industrial electricians.

• Plan, assign and supervise work of industrial electricians
• Review work planning and weekly scheduling with affected departments
• Approve emergency work and reschedule planned work
• Obtain pricing, place orders and prepare usage estimates for needed supplies, parts, tools and materials
• Arrange for work support, materials and parts to minimize interruptions in operations and ensure work is done in the most efficient and cost-effective manner
• Develop and maintain PM schedule for equipment and facilities to reduce unplanned downtime
• Maintain records of scheduled and unscheduled work for development of work order system
• Review data to make recommendations for improvement and provide solutions to electrical maintenance related issues
• Create and implement SOPs for areas of responsibility
• Provide for training and continuing education opportunities for direct reports
• Maintain a working knowledge of plant operations to assist other departments with area expertise as needed
• Assist in planning large projects and installations
• Strict adherence to all Company policies and State and Federal Guidelines
• Stay current with, and ensure adherence to, relevant OSHA and environmental regulations
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to troubleshoot and address short and long term maintenance
• Available to support 24/7 operation

• Technical diploma/ journey worker status preferred. Will consider relevant work experience, certifications, etc.
• 3-5 years’ manufacturing experience, food and beverage production preferred
• Prior leadership or supervisory responsibility. Union environment preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley CLX
• Knowledge of electrical code
• Medium voltage experience preferred
