Production Associate

This entry-level production associate role involves performing a variety of tasks in the manufacturing of wood components, following standard work methods and safe work practices to support efficient, high-quality production.

• Perform a variety of tasks in the production of wood components according to standard work methods and instructions from the department supervisor.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages to ensure accurate identification and traceability.
• Check the quality of products using a tape measure and other measuring tools or equipment to confirm they meet required specifications.
• Notify the supervisor promptly of any mechanical issues, material problems, or process concerns that may affect production or safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following housekeeping and safety guidelines.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required safety equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses and hearing protection.
• Work effectively as part of a production team to meet daily output goals and maintain a fast-paced workflow.
• Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within established production schedules.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and perform a variety of job tasks as needed across the production process.

This is a contract to hire position based out of La Crosse, WI.

The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.75/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
