Position Title:

Assembler
Wage: $18.00/hour

Shift: 1st or 2nd

Hours:

6:00am - 2:00pm or 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Location:

Manitowoc, WI.

This is a potential to hire position for 1st or 2nd shift.

• Monitor and follow safety preventive measures and practices
• Follow quality guidelines and checks including first piece, last piece and in-process inspections
• Conduct and evaluate destructive testing along with visual checks so necessary adjustments to the set-up can be made to produce a quality part
• Schedule and prioritize orders to meet customer demand and on-time delivery
• Use computer programs to assist in recording data, making labels, prioritizing orders, printing ship-sets, etc.
• Set-up and operate High Pressure Cell equipment
• Make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment and machines when necessary
• Identify, analyze and evaluate machine and material problems
• Report necessary machine report problem to maintenance
• Provide training in safety precautions, quality requirements, preventative maintenance and production practices and procedures
• Assists department manager with continuous improvement efforts

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous industrial experience is a plus
• Able to lift up to 25lbs occasionally
• Able to bend and twist throughout shift
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Able to withstand humid weather during summer months
• Able to read, write and communicate in English Able to use a variety measuring instruments
