Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Behavioral Health

Location:

Main Campus, La Crosse, WI

Inpatient Behavioral Health (IBH)

Schedule:

60 hours per two weeks (0.75 FTE) | Rotating 12-hour Day/Night shifts  / )

Every third weekend | Two holidays per year

What You'll Do

* Provide compassionate, trauma-informed and evidence-based care to patients experiencing acute mental health crisis.

* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, NPs, RNs, behavioral health specialists, CNAs, social workers, therapists, clergy, and addiction counselors.

* Support patients through crisis stabilization, medication management, and therapeutic interventions.

* Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

What You'll Need

* Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum)

* Required:

Active and unencumbered RN license to practice in the state of Wisconsin

* Preferred: 1+ year of RN experience, ideally in mental health

* Current Infant-Adult BLS for Health Care Providers

* Strong communication and teamwork skills
