Hillview Health Care Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Technician to join our team. This position is designed for nursing students currently enrolled in a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program who want to gain hands‑on experience under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

As a Nurse Technician, you’ll assist with nursing care and help create a safe, supportive environment for residents. You’ll provide direct care, administer medications and treatments under RN supervision, and play an important role in each resident’s plan of care. This position offers meaningful nursing experience while you complete your education.

Overview

FLSA:
Non-Exempt. This is a nursing position for the Long-Term Care Campuses of La Crosse County for a student nurse who is either currently enrolled in a nursing program leading to a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Nurse Technician performs those nursing tasks for which trained and in which the employee is able to demonstrate competency.

Location: Hillview Health Care Center

Schedule: AM Shift | 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM | Every other weekend & holiday rotation

Pay scale: $22.10 per hour + shift differentials

Status: Irregular Part-time (less than 40 hours per pay period)
