Registered Nurse – Med Evac
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Med Evac crew in Eagle River, WI.
The RN is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence‑based nursing care for critically ill and injured patients in the pre‑hospital setting and during inter‑facility transports. The RN must continually improve care quality by collecting and analyzing data.
Under the direction and supervision of the Manager – Med Evac, the RN provides safe, comprehensive care for patients of all ages in critical condition. This includes applying advanced transport techniques and emergency procedures.
Hours: Full‑time, 1.0 FTE, 24‑hour shift rotations.
Qualifications- Knowledge of patient care standards normally acquired through completion of a nursing program;
Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. - Previous 2 years in hospital critical care.
- Medical transport experience beneficial.
- Active Wisconsin RN license.
- Active Michigan RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) provider course completed.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) provider course completed.
- Valid Driver’s License in state of residence.
- Completes all annual recurrent competency requirements.
- Knowledge and compliance with regulations and scope of practice of EMS licensing agencies.

Credentials required include:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Driver’s License, Registered Nurse License, CPR or BLS, RN‑RN MI, EMT or Paramedic‑MI, and Online Transport Professional Advanced Trauma Course. Source: AIR & Surface Port Nurses Association.
