Mental Health Nurse
Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Behavioral Health | Adult & Pediatric Mental Health
Location:
La Crosse & Onalaska, WI
FTE: 0.8 FTE (64 hours per two weeks)
Schedule:
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday
Weekend Rotation:
One weekend approximately every 3 months (short AM shifts)
Holiday Rotation:
One holiday approximately every 2 years

Hospital-based compensation starting at $35.52/hour, commensurate with experience, plus weekend differential. - Work-Life Balance:

- Provide outpatient behavioral health nursing care across adult and pediatric programs.
- Manage in-basket tasks, phone triage, injections, and intakes.
- Support addiction treatment programs through weekend coverage (suboxone, methadone dosing).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Required:
- Minimum Associate degree in Nursing
- Active RN license to practice in Wisconsin
- CPR:
Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider
- Preferred:
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Experience in behavioral health and/or addictions
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain strong boundaries and adapt to evolving department needs
