Job Overview
We are expanding our Cardiac Pre‑Op & Recovery team to support increased procedural volume from the Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) services. This role provides comprehensive pre‑operative and post‑procedure recovery care for cardiac patients undergoing a variety of procedures, including catheterizations, cardioversions, transesophageal echocardiograms, device implantations, EP ablations and Watchman procedures.
ScheduleFull‑time equivalent (0.6 FTE). Scheduled weekly hours: 24. Monday–Friday, 8‑ and 10‑hour shifts. Hours between 8:00AM and 7:30PM. Occasional post‑shift on‑call hours from 7:30PM to 11:00PM. Hours may flex based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for cardiac procedures and coordinate post‑procedure recovery.
- Monitor and provide care during and after cardiac catheterizations, cardioversions, TEE, device implantations, EP ablations, and Watchman procedures.
- Collaborate with the cardiac care team, including nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals, to ensure safe and timely patient care.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings.
Competitive starting pay at $38.96 per hour and up, based on experience.

- Current Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin.
- Minimum associate degree in nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within three months of hire. - Minimum two years of RN experience, preferably in cardiac patient care; or at least one year of strong cardiac patient care experience.
