Professional Development Nurse (PDN) – Infusion Services & Cancer Center

Bellein Health and Gundersen Health System (Emplify Health) seek a Professional Development Nurse to support growth of nursing staff by identifying learning needs, evaluating practice gaps, and fostering continuous improvement.

• Evaluate nursing practice and assess practice gaps, identifying learning needs.
• Participate in process improvement projects and initiatives at the unit and system level.
• Facilitate professional role development and growth of nurses from novice to expert.
• Act as a change agent, mentor, facilitator of learning, champion for scientific inquiry, and advocate for the nursing professional development specialty.
• Support orientation and onboarding of new staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including other PDNs, clinical nurse leaders, managers, pharmacists, research nurses, quality and informatics nurses, etc.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (required).
• Master’s degree in nursing obtained within the last five years (required).
• 1–2 years of Oncology or Infusion RN experience, or equivalent.
• Ambulatory Care RN experience preferred.
• RN licensure to practice in Wisconsin and Minnesota (required upon hire).
