Registered Nurse

Overview

Open Door Community Health Centers is seeking Registered Nurses to serve as key members of the patient‑centered medical home care team. RN leaders coordinate patient services, educate patients, and provide high‑quality care using standardized protocols, including emergency response, while supporting Open Door’s mission to promote disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment adherence in the community.

• Observe patients and monitor vital signs.
• Provide patient preparation and assistance for treatments.
• Administer treatments and respond to medical emergencies.
• Educate patients and families on health care plans and self‑care.
• Act as team leader and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure continuous, accurate care.

• California RN license required.
• BSN, MSN, or higher education preferred.
• Prior clinic‑setting experience desirable.
• Language skill:
  Hmong or Spanish speakers who pass a language exam may receive a wage add‑on.

Hourly wage ranges from $42.75 to $49.52. Base pay is $42.75 per hour. Additional wage differentials: $2.00 per hour for BSN, $3.50 per hour for MSN. Wage differentials do not compound, and eligible language add‑ons are applied separately.
