Gundersen Health System is looking for an RN to join the Pre Op!

This opportunity will allow you a variety of patient care experiences, work-life balance and to work with a great team!

What you will do:

0.625 fte; 50 hours every two weeks

Pre Op – Five 10-hour shifts per pay period, primarily 8:00am-6:30pm or 9:00am-7:30pmHours may flex based on department need Approximately (1) weeknight call shift every 6 weeks from 7:00pm-11:00pm. Approximately 3 weekend call shifts every 6 months

Weekend call hours include Saturday 7:00am-7:00pm, or Sunday 7:00am-7:00pmWeeknight call is assigned; weekend call is self-scheduled. 1 hour response time for call shifts1 scheduled holiday per yearA fast-paced department cares for a variety of surgical specialties varying in age from pediatric to geriatric

Pre-op primary responsibilities include assessing and preparing the patient for surgery, providing education, and preparing for discharge home

What you will need:

RN license to work in the state of Wisconsin Minimum of an Associate Degree in NursingBLS for healthcare providers

Minimum 2 year RN experience

Starting pay of $38.96/hr and up, based on your years of experience, as well as generous shift/weekend/holiday differentials
