Schedule:

Full-Time (80 hours per two weeks; 1.0 FTE)

Hours:

8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No weekends, holidays, or call obligation.

Position Overview Join our highly specialized Cardiac Device team in providing advanced cardiac care in a collaborative, high-performing environment. This role blends procedural coordination, patient education, and clinical nursing responsibilities with a mix of phone-based and in-person care. You’ll work closely with cardiology physicians and advanced practice clinicians to support patients undergoing Cardiac Device procedures such as device implants and helping elevate the level of nursing practice in a subspecialty setting.

• This role will also include management of cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIED) and their care
• Perform phone triage and patient education, complete medication refills, manage EPIC in-basket and MyChart messages.
• Provide direct patient care through in-person device interrogation, evaluation, and optimization of device settings based on clinical needs.
• Support inpatient and procedural areas by conducting device interrogations in the OR, Emergency Services, MRI, Radiation Oncology, and Pain Medicine settings.
• This role will assist with procedure coordination and in-office procedures.

• Minimum of associate degree in Nursing RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire
• 1 year RN experience required
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers
• ACLS required after hire
• A strong background in cardiology and a desire for continuous learning
• Knowledge and passion for heart rhythms
• Experience with EPIC

• Starting pay of $35.52 + more for experience
