- Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM | No weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibility

Part-time, 0.8 (64 hours per two weeks)

Join our Podiatry team and work alongside providers who are known for being collaborative and highly supportive. You'll care for a diverse patient population while developing specialized skills in foot and ankle health, wound care, diabetic foot management, and post-operative recovery.

Our close-knit team works together to support one another, ensuring exceptional patient care and a positive work environment.

• Provide telephone triage and clinical assessment for patients with podiatric concerns.
• Manage EPIC in-baskets, MyChart messages, and medication refills.
• Perform nurse-only visits, including pre- and post-operative appointments and wound checks.
• Assist providers with in-office procedures and treatments as needed.
• Educate patients on crutch use, wound care, and durable medical equipment such as walking boots and wound vacs.
• Care for patients with conditions including fractures, sprains, Achilles tendon injuries, foot deformities, diabetic foot complications, wounds, and amputations.
• Collaborate closely with podiatrists, advanced practice providers, residents, nurses, and medical assistants to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Enjoy a balanced role that includes approximately 50% direct patient care and 50% phone and computer-based nursing responsibilities.

• Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum).
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• One year or more nursing experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

• Starting pay: $31.96/hour (plus experience credit).
