Alumni Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide locum tenens coverage at partner facilities across Wisconsin. In this role, you will deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients, including pre-anesthesia evaluations, development of individualized anesthesia plans, intraoperative monitoring, and post-anesthesia recovery management. You'll collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and perioperative teams while adapting to diverse clinical settings.

Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients in a variety of clinical settings across Wisconsin
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, develop anesthesia plans, and obtain informed consent
- Administer anesthesia (general, regional, MAC) and monitor patients intraoperatively, adjusting care as needed
- Manage post-anesthesia recovery, pain control, and immediate post-operative complications
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and comply with hospital and regulatory standards
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, physicians, and perioperative staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to evidence-based practice guidelines, patient safety protocols, and infection control standards
- Travel to multiple client facilities as needed, adapting to diverse practice environments and workflows
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to best practices in anesthesia care
- Coordinate locum tenens schedules, credentialing, and onboarding with Alumni Healthcare Staffing
Required Skills
- Anesthesia administration (general, regional, MAC)
- Pre-operative patient assessment and risk stratification
- Airway management and ventilator support
- Intraoperative hemodynamic monitoring and stabilization
- Post-anesthesia care and pain management
- Emergency response and crisis resource management
- Electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
- Knowledge of ASA guidelines and perioperative best practices
- Interdisciplinary clinical communication and teamwork
