We are looking for a Supplier Quality Specialist in LaCrosse, WI or Remote, US.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00AM–5:00PM.

Location:

Onsite, Hybrid, or Remote – completely your choice.

• Assist the Supplier Quality Supervisor in the supplier management program.
• Conduct supplier documentation analysis and maintenance in Trace Gains.
• Assess risk of new suppliers/ingredients and packaging and audit suppliers when necessary.
• Travel to suppliers and Co‑Manufacturers to conduct audits as needed.
• Maintain compliance with the supplier management program, act as point person for specific programs as assigned.
• Ensure supplier and item level documentation in Trace Gains is appropriately gathered and reviewed using a risk analysis approach.
• Document risk assessments in Trace Gains and ensure appropriate controls are implemented.
• Build and maintain connections in Trace Gains and investigate declined connections.
• Monitor supplier email alerts in Trace Gains and manage supplier feedback.
• Gather and review expired, missing, and awaiting approval supplier and item level documents.
• Complete tasks assigned in Con Xus promptly.
• Assess food fraud risk utilizing Smart Alerts in Trace Gains for all items assigned.
• Submit supplier complaints through CARs in Trace Gains when facility issues result in supplier complaints.
• Execute in‑person and virtual supplier audits to reduce food safety risk.
• Improve quality and food safety programs through continuous evaluation of suppliers.
• Work with QA Compliance on ensuring change control records are entered as needed.
• Assist the Quality department in monthly GMP inspections and CAPA program.
• Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, stop unsafe acts, obey facility safety rules, report hazards, and support safety policies.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or other science‑related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in quality at a food manufacturing business.
• HACCP certification preferred.
• SQF Practitioner preferred.
