Are you passionate about baking and pastry and providing exceptional food service quality? We are seeking a Baker to join our team. Our bakery crafts items for guests’ events and everyday moments alike, from special occasions to everyday indulgences.
Providing excellent guest service is at the heart of what we do. You’ll greet guests, answer questions, and address concerns with professionalism and care, making a positive impact every day.
What You’ll Do- Recipe & Production Control: Follow recipes and production lists precisely to ensure high-quality bakery and pastry items. Monitor dates and freshness, handle outdated items properly, and report shrinkage.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to Health Department guidelines and Festival sanitation practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and dry storage.
- Guest Service: Provide excellent customer service by helping guests find items, taking special orders, and addressing concerns. Answer phone calls with proper etiquette and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Stock Monitoring: Monitor stock levels and service floor needs, ensuring proper assortment and production readiness, especially for early mornings and evenings.
- Quality Standards: Maintain food safety logs and ensure all quality standards, including quantity expectations, are met by 10 am and 5 pm daily.

Work closely with Bakery associates to meet department goals and support a positive team environment. - Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance per schedule and adequate notice to arrange coverage for occasional absences.
- Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

- Customer Focus: Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and staff.
- Effective Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly assess and resolve issues in a dynamic and sometimes stressful environment, while supporting the team.
- Safety Awareness: Understanding of safety requirements and company policies, including training on ovens, lifting techniques, and bakery equipment.
- Retail Expertise: Knowledge of the retail food business and perishable department operations, with the ability to make timely and effective decisions.
- Physical Demands: Stand for long periods; bend, stoop, and kneel regularly; lift up to 60 pounds frequently; frequent hand and wrist repetition.
- Work Environment: Occasionally exposed to extreme temperatures; frequent exposure to moving machinery.
The Baker role includes early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility for evenings or overnight shifts as needed.
