Overview
Trane Technologies is a leader in sustainable climate solutions. We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage transportation planning and coordination at our La Crosse, Wisconsin site.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute daily transportation planning, including bid analysis, route and carrier selection, consolidation and scheduling.
- Manage priority shipments and resolve research errors, communicate with local carriers, and ensure compliance for facility yard drivers.
- Communicate production priorities to support on‑time shipments and service level goals.
- Coordinate manufacturing activities and monitor schedule performance, resolving delays with cross‑functional teams.
- Identify potential problems and proactively resolve concerns.
- Coordinate with third‑party crane and yard services, subcontract partners, and track performance of service providers.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with contracts, policies and hazardous shipment requirements.
- Support and enforce logistics policies and procedures, and participate in cross‑functional teams to develop mode and carrier strategies.
- Support annual productivity improvements and strategic initiatives; maintain strong carrier relationships.
- Assist in IT system enhancements related to transportation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Transportation preferred.
- Experience with transportation management systems preferred.
- Collaborative mindset across functional areas.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time‑management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Availability to support after‑hours and weekend shipments as needed.
- Annual Base Salary Range: $49,400 – $87,640 (salary).
- Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) match up to 8%, paid time off (15 vacation days, 9 holidays, 3 floating holidays, sick leave), and educational and training opportunities.
