DSG is seeking a Warehouse Senior Associate in our La Crosse, WI location. This is a full‑time, hourly position with typical hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
, though occasional variation may occur to meet business needs.
As a Warehouse Senior Associate, you will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations, with a primary focus on receiving. Key duties include order pulling, shipping & receiving, putting product away, and maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
Responsibilities- Assist in receiving materials and products.
- Notify the Branch Manager about shortages or overages in inventory.
- Use computer and/or RF gun to check status, availability, and location of product.
- Accurately pull material from location to fill each order.
- Pack, label, and place filled orders in the proper location for delivery.
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklift, picker, turret, etc.)—training and certification provided.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment: sweep and mop floors, clean and dust shelves, and dispose of trash appropriately.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Maintain proficiency in computer‑based systems and other technologies as required.
- Collaborate with fellow warehouse associates to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Load delivery trucks as needed.
- Handle calls for the warehouse when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Advanced product and warehouse knowledge, typically obtained through five or more years of applicable experience.
- Safety training in material handling and forklift operation.
- Strong interpersonal, customer‑service, and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team‑orientated, able to work collaboratively with coworkers.
