Candidates should demonstrate:
* Ability and willingness to learn specific tutoring techniques and use the provided curricula accurately and effectively.
* Ability and willingness to learn basic literacy assessment protocols
* Ability to provide literacy tutoring multiple days per week (3-4) at various times of the day.
* Ability to work effectively with young children in small groups or one-on-one situations
* Ability to receive and apply feedback
* Ability to maintain a positive attitude and a growth mindset while working with children
* Organizational skills to accurately record student progress daily
* Ability to communicate effectively with parents and children using both verbal and written communication
