Overview
The College of Business at Eastern Oregon University (EOU) invites applications for a full‑time, tenure‑track Assistant Professor of Agricultural Entrepreneurship. This position is situated within our growing Agriculture Entrepreneurship (AE) degree program, which has demonstrated rapid enrollment growth as its curriculum continues to evolve and position graduates for competitive careers in the current and future agriculture job market.
Responsibilities- Maintain a productive scholarly agenda appropriate to a regional comprehensive university.
- Contribute to program development and curriculum refinement.
- Engage in service to the college, university, and profession.
- Connect disciplinary scholarship to the economic realities of Eastern Oregon?s agricultural communities.
- Strong academic foundation and active research agenda in agricultural economics, agribusiness, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated ability to combine rigorous disciplinary expertise with applied teaching that prepares students to become agriculture leaders, managers, and entrepreneurs.
- Taught or intending to teach at least one of the following areas: agricultural economics, agribusiness management, agricultural finance and financial management, agricultural marketing and commodity trading, risk management, and global agricultural trade and policy.
- Interest in connecting scholarship to the economic realities of Eastern Oregon’s agricultural communities is especially encouraged.
