Undergraduate Faculty

Responsibilities

• Provide effective classroom instruction, using appropriate instructional technologies to meet course outcomes.
• Collaborate in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Plan, supervise, and deliver clinical instruction in lab, simulation, and real‑world settings, ensuring students apply theory to practice.
• Mentor and advise students across academic and professional development; supervise dissertation and/or clinical inquiry projects in the doctoral program.
• Participate in scholarly activities appropriate for faculty rank, including inquiry and scholarship that contributes to clinical practice and research, preparing grants and seeking funding.
• Engage in service activities such as committee membership, professional activities, and faculty governance; participate in strategic initiatives based on rank.

• Instructor: MSN or equivalent.
• Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor:
  PhD/DNP or equivalent.
• Preferred: documented teaching competency through experience, education, or continuing education.

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
