Job Description SummaryEastern Oregon University is currently seeking applicants for part-time, adjunct education supervisor positions in the Teacher Preparation for the Undergraduate and Master of Teaching programs within the Washington, Oregon, and Idaho areas.
The Student Teacher Supervisor is responsible for instructing, coaching and supervising student teachers during their practical clinical work in school settings Oregon. Supervisors provide written and electronic evaluations of the student teacher's performance in accordance with EOU College of Education Supervisor Handbook. In addition, the University Supervisor regularly counsels student teachers, visits them in their clinical experience site, observes and evaluates their performance and provides feedback, confers with the clinical faculty and cooperating teacher(s), and serves as a liaison between the University and the area schools.
The University Supervisor must participate in the Clinical training program during the first year of employment.
This recruitment is to establish an applicant pool for future part-time Adjunct Ed Supervision. The college hires part-time supervisor on a quarter by quarter basis, dependent on enrollment. If you are selected for a potential future vacancy, a college representative will contact you.

- Face), mentor, and assist pre-service teachers during their student teaching. - Complete necessary observation documents electronically.
- Education degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least 3 years of successful classroom teaching experience.
- Knowledge of and experience in K-12 education.
- Valid work authorization documents are required.
- Satisfactorily complete a background check.
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Knowledge of or experience with the co-teaching model.
- Ability to observe for 'best practices' in K-12 classrooms.
