La Grande, Oregon CRNA Locum Tenens (Critical Access Hospital)

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced CRNA to support a critical access hospital in La Grande, Oregon. They are needing help in May 2026, offering a collaborative anesthesia team, diverse case mix, and an autonomous CRNA practice model.

Assignment Highlights

  • Location: La Grande, Oregon – Critical Access Hospital
  • Start Date: May 2026
  • Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts per week
  • Call: 1 weekday per week + 1 weekend per month (must be proficient in OB to take call)
  • Model: 1 MD + 4 CRNAs (all autonomous)
  • ORs: 5 + cysto + endoscopy suite
  • Daily Census: 5–20 cases/day (includes endoscopy & cataracts); 2–4 rooms run daily
  • EMR: Epic
Clinical Scope
  • Case Mix: Orthopedics, General Surgery, Podiatry, ENT, Healthy Pediatrics, Urology, OB/GYN, occasional Endoscopy
  • Not Included: Cardiac, Neuro, or Spine
  • Skills/Procedures Required:
    • Spinals
    • OB anesthesia + Epidurals
    • Endoscopy
    • Peripheral Nerve Blocks
    • Ultrasound-guided procedures
    • (PICC line preferred, not required)
Candidate Requirements
  • Licensure: Active Oregon CRNA license
  • Certification: NBCRNA Board Certified
  • DEA: Preferred, not required
  • Experience: OB proficiency required for call coverage
