Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) are members of a Retail Team of Experts who bring the T‑Mobile brand to life. They act as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast‑paced environment where technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience are continuously evolving.

Job Responsibilities
  • Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers while providing a world‑class customer experience and building loyalty.
  • Help customers continue their shopping journey online, via Customer Care, or in‑store.
  • Explore individual needs and provide hands‑on demonstrations of the latest technology.
  • Sell side‑by‑side to find personalized solutions beyond basic device & service plans.
  • Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity and compassion.
  • Use digital tools to actively demonstrate coverage, LTE speed and T‑Mobile plans.
  • Complete training on in‑store experience, new skills, systems and reference resources.
  • Seek learning opportunities during shifts to stay updated on wireless innovations.
  • Collaborate with T‑Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience and resolve issues.
  • Identify and hand off small business leads.
  • Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required).
Work Experience
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience;
    Retail preferred (Required).
Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
  • Passionate customer advocate who enjoys connecting and having fun (Required).
  • Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment (Required).
  • Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, sharing ideas and resolving issues (Required).

Compensation

Hourly base pay: $18.00, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and training pay. Upon completion, promotion to Mobile Expert offers an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year (actual incentives vary by performance). All employees are guaranteed to earn $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives.
