Job SummaryReporting to the RSP Manager, Psychology, the School Psychologist works as a member of the problem‑solving team to assist students by screening for early intervention, administering diagnostic and curriculum‑based assessments, and delivering crisis, individual, and group intervention services. The psychologist also provides consultative services, conducts professional development, and coordinates community referrals.
Responsibilities- Provide screening for early intervention and identification.
- Administer diagnostic and curriculum‑based assessments.
- Deliver crisis, individual, and group interventions as appropriate.
- Conduct professional development, training, and workshops for teachers, administrators, and other school personnel.
- Provide consultative services related to school, instruction, social/emotional learning, and behavior problem‑solving.
- Assist with coordination of community referrals, language, and cultural resources.
Education Required:
- Master’s degree in school psychology from an accredited college or university.
- Valid Professional Educator License with an endorsement in School Psychology (certificate must show a current registration date).

Conditions of Employment- Establish and maintain Chicago residency within six months of hire date and throughout employment (except for temporary/part‑time positions). All employees must be residents of Illinois.
