My client is searching for a hands‑on Engineering Manager who’s ready to lead a team of skilled mechanical engineers and designers, guiding complex customer orders from concept through delivery. You’ll oversee all aspects of engineering execution, from design standards to documentation, while mentoring a team responsible for building customized industrial solutions.

• Competitive base salary: $125,000–$145,000 depending on experience

• Lead and develop a team of mechanical engineers and designers
• Oversee engineering project workflow, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance
• Set and enforce design standards, documentation protocols, and manufacturing readiness
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and customers to translate technical specs into practical solutions
• Implement process improvements, cost reductions, and cross‑functional efficiency gains
• Manage and prioritize resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects

• Be able to do the job as described
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field required
• Strong background in engineered-to-order equipment design and manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret steel fabrication drawings, weld systems and mechanical prints
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor engineers
• Proficiency with Solidworks software
• Comfortable balancing hands‑on design review with strategic team oversight
