The Technical Product Manager (Digital Services) is an intermediate-level position that leads or assists in the execution of virtual, in‑person, and hybrid events. The role manages show network administration, speaker readiness, help desk, record and streaming technicians, and more. It includes contract and union labor management, significant client and end‑user interaction, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Primary Responsibilities- Serve as primary or secondary on‑site contact for engineering projects.
- Execute on‑site or virtual plans as designed by the lead engineer.
- Participate in client presentations when required.
- Consult with and troubleshoot client technology issues.
- Execute on‑site production tasks as assigned.
- Interface with account management and PRG AOL to ensure gear is ordered and delivered.
- Coordinate with Project Management and Account Management staff on show schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Communicate project status and performance as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information systems, computer science, or related technology fields.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in audio/visual production.
- Administration of Windows desktop and server systems.
- Experience with Macintosh and Linux administration is a plus.
- Ability to create and administer scripts for task automation.
- Understanding of client‑server models for distributed applications.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases and API integrations.
- Fundamental understanding of network technology, including routing, switching, and Wi‑Fi.
- Knowledge of internet video streaming technologies.
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
The pay range for this position is estimated to be $90,000–$100,000, based on experience, skills, and location. We also offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with matching contributions.
