Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Some managers also lead departments, managing assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results. Specific departmental responsibilities include:
- Guest Service Department Manager – Ensure crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, promote sales promotions, train service staff, and organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas.
- Kitchen Department Manager – Ensure the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly, maintain food safety and cost controls, and train kitchen staff on production procedures, including new menu items.
- People Department Manager – Hire qualified crew, train them well, and schedule them to meet sales and profit goals. Also, motivate crew and recognize their achievements.
Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. We seek positive team players with flexible schedules who thrive in a fast‑paced McDonald’s environment. Candidates must be 18 years or older.
Qualifications- Ability to teach and train side‑by‑side, delegating responsibilities effectively while leading by example.
- Open availability and flexible scheduling around the restaurant’s needs (weekdays, nights, weekends, 364 days a year).
- Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in POS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong people skills; 98% of your time will involve serving, coaching, training, inspiring, leading, and developing a diverse group of people.
- High standards for quality, service, cleanliness, and value.
- Aspirations to impress every guest, every time, and coach the team to do the same.
- High‑level communication skills – professional, clear, and friendly.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and willingness to learn.
