Terms of Employment:
Compensation will be based on 185 contract days on the board-approved 104 salary schedule. This position requires a 7-hour workday.

• High school graduate with general clerical training.

• Liaison between home and school as it pertains to attendance.
• Drafting/revising and mailing written communication to parents.
• Making daily phone calls to parents of students who are absent.
• Maintains records using student attendance software such as running daily attendance and eligibility reports.
• Providing feedback to the Office Manager regarding student attendance.
• Communicating (written and oral communications made to parents) to parent advocate.
• Communicating truancy information to DPP and Office Manager.
• Issues truancy notices to parents for both absences and tardiness.
• Other attendance issues addressed by the Office Manager/Principal.
• Perform necessary medical-related services for students who have been determined by their physician to need such services, upon written delegation of the responsibilities and proper training by the District Nurse.
• Provide a list of students to parent advocate that require a home visit for absences and tardiness.
