JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses:
Active Kentucky medical license required
• Board:
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM required)
• DEA:
Active Kentucky DEA required
•
Certifications:
As required for emergency medicine practice
•
Experience:
Prior emergency medicine experience preferred
• Other
Qualifications:
Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting to the emergency department
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Perform emergency procedures as clinically indicated
• Collaborate with nursing staff, APCs, and consulting specialists
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the EMR system
