We are the largest private provider of residential and community-based services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the state of Kentucky. We are a local non-profit organization founded in 1970 by Louisville-area parents of people with IDD.

The DSP provides general and specialized care and support to each resident. The care and support include activities of daily living, productive activities, and leisure activities. The DSP will provide active treatment, safety, and supervision to all residents of Sycamore Run while promoting inclusion in the community. The DSP will facilitate the resident's independence, and choice in both their home and the community.

- Voicing concerns and issues
- Support individuals with setting and accomplishing goals
- Creating friendships
- Provide companionship and supportive listening
Maintain safe environments for individuals - Perform other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age with valid Kentucky or Indiana Driver’s License
- 1 year Caregiving
- Full-time day schedule, Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm.
Note that Cedar Lake Lodge, Park Place, and Sycamore Run are Intermediate Care Facilities, placing us under the 'CMS Omnibus COVID-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination Interim Rule.' Under this rule, employees must be vaccinated or have an approved medical or religious exemption prior to employment.
