Summary
The Nurse Coordinator is a leadership position operating under the direction of the Nurse Manager. This individual is responsible for providing assistance to the Nurse manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating nursing services of the unit. Performs leadership and education-based duties along with clinical staffing, as needed, to support department operations.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Active Kentucky RN License.
- Three years of relevant experience required.
- At least two years of clinical practice in a role within a perinatal department.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within 90 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within 90 days of hire.
- Completion of AWHONN Advanced Fetal monitoring.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
