Baptist La Grange is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our Medical Surgical unit! This is a great opportunity for candidates seeking to get their start within the clinical field or to utilize their prior patient care experience.
Job Summary:The Nurse Assistant / Unit Secretary is an individual with clerical aptitude and clinical abilities that assist the nursing staff by performing selected procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Will perform clerical duties as directed to optimize department operations.
Responsibilities:- Provides Safe and Efficient Patient Care.
- Communicates effectively.
- Performs Scheduling, Computer and Clerical Functions.
- Demonstrates Scheduling Proficiency.
- Demonstrates Role Accountability.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire.
