Landscape Team Member

Ashbourne Farms is looking for Seasonal Landscapers/ Groundskeepers to join our landscape and property maintenance team. Ashbourne Farms is located just outside of Louisville, KY in scenic LaGrange, KY
, with additional opportunities to perform grounds maintenance and landscaping duties at our Haymarket locations in Louisville, KY
. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in craftsmanship, outdoor work, and maintaining high-end farm and event properties.

• Pay is $18.00 per hour
• Seasonal work:
  March through early November
• Consistent schedule of 7 am - 3 pm Monday – Friday (some evenings and weekends based on seasonal needs)
• Opportunities for overtime as needed
• Multiple work locations in Louisville and Oldham County areas

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating lawn care equipment, mowers, tractors, and power tools
• Knowledge in performing basic mechanical maintenance on lawn equipment
• Related lawn care, landscaping, groundskeeping, or property maintenance experience is preferred
• Familiar with different plants, including native and invasive species preferred

• Landscape & Lawncare Maintenance: Perform all aspects of landscape maintenance and lawn care, including mowing, weed eating, seeding, sod installation, mulching, fertilizing, pruning, and debris removal.
• Property Maintenance: Assist with general groundskeeping and property maintenance tasks, including fence repair, building upkeep, and ensure all lighting and irrigation systems are functioning properly.
• Seasonal & Project-based Work: Adapt to the seasonal needs of the farm by taking on a variety of tasks such as snow removal, leaf collection, soil preparation, and planting, ensuring the property's readiness for various seasons and events.

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and climbing on uneven ground surfaces, and frequent stooping, bending and reaching.
• Ability to walk frequent long distances, often several miles, in one shift.
• Must be able to safely operate heavy groundskeeping and landscaping equipment including ability to visually see long distances and ability for strong hand/eye coordination.
• Must be able to lift, and carry, up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to work in an outdoor environment with frequent exposure to extreme weather conditions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
