Delivery Driver

Job Description

Domino's Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to provide pizza delivery services. The position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth.

• Operate all store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, walk‑in cooler, and work area.
• Prepare product according to company standards.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Make correct monetary change.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Use functional motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for fast and accurate movements.
• Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Demonstrate the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
• Maintain accurate order entry and communication with customers and co‑workers.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Possess navigation skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate multi‑story buildings and adverse terrain.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Show the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions while removing trash and performing outside tasks.
• Workplace temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler areas to 90°F and above in some work areas.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, fumes, and hot surfaces up to 500°F or higher.
• Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler and exposure to sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

• Standing for most tasks, walking short distances for short durations, and occasional use of ceramic tile and linoleum surfaces.
• Sitting for paperwork completion at a desk or table.
• Lifting heavy items: bulk product deliveries, cases up to 50 pounds, and hand‑truck loads.
• Carrying items up to 30 pounds, including large cans and pizza sauce, and transporting trays of pizza dough (≈12 pounds per tray).
• Pushing and pulling dollies and trays, requiring a force of up to 7.5 pounds.
• Climbing stairs or ladders infrequently for maintenance tasks.
