Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Reporting

Large manufacturing company targeting a Controller to join the team!

Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Company Car!

CFO

Targeting Candidate with experience:

• Strategic business partnership
• Strategic decision making for a company as a whole
• CSuite partnership
• Managing a P&L
• CAPEX evaluations
• Potential M&A oversight
• Providing insight into financial moves to make to assist future health of the organization
• Budgeting/Forecasting
• Blended accounting and finance background ideal

• Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Direct the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities to support business planning and performance management.
• Perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Partner with operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.
• Oversee inventory accounting, cost accounting, and manufacturing-related financial processes.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and applicable financial regulations.
• Manage internal controls and continuously improve accounting procedures and financial processes.
• Coordinate and lead external audit activities and serve as the primary liaison with auditors.
• Provide financial analysis and support for capital expenditures, operational investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop, mentor, and lead accounting and finance team members.
• Support ad hoc reporting, special projects, and strategic business initiatives.
• Promote and uphold the Company's ethical standards, business principles, and commitment to operational excellence.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Progressive accounting and finance leadership experience, preferably within manufacturing, construction materials, industrial, or related environments.
