Position Summary

As a part of our produce team, you’ll make important decisions about the quality of the produce that members and their families eat by ensuring availability, cleanliness and freshness.

- Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members.
- Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club, answering any questions they may have.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
- Receive and stock merchandise in an organized manner.
- Maintain inventory to prevent out-of-stock and over-stock products.
In addition, you will:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of produce products and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
- Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service.
- Be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, and control shrinkage in a timely manner.
- Understand processes and specifications related to produce quality (taste, preparation method, seasonality).
- Prepare produce according to established standards (trim, crisp, package, scale).
- Maintain product safety and follow company sanitation guidelines.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
- Use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality.
- Utilize perpetual inventory management techniques, rotate department products, ensure quality and date control standards, and eliminate waste.
- Guide peers and attend to customer needs.
- Advocate for the department and the club by modeling high‑quality service and products.

- Hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00; the actual hourly rate will be equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location.
- Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives and premiums up to $3.00 per hour.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.
