This is a benefited, full-time position (80 hours per pay period) with an 8-hour day shift schedule located at our Scripps Clinic in Torrey Pines. This position will work Monday through Friday, shifts 7am-3:30pm, 7:30am-4pm, or 8am-5pm depending on the day and provider. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will:

* Perform patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate.

* Educate patients and families and document patient interactions.

* Practice infection control and contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.

Required Qualifications:

* Current California LVN license

* American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Provider

* Must be able to speak, read, write, and follow instructions in English.

* Excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

* One year of outpatient experience as LVN or LPN

* Experience in an outpatient setting

Position Pay Range: $33.39-$48.28/hour
