Our client specializes in external dispatch, investigation, and recovery services, enabling utilities to focus on delivering better products and services to their customers. They have decades of experience in broadband, telecommunications, field investigations, dig laws, insurance, and B2B collections, and are a recognized leader in the Outside Plant Damage (OPD) industry. Their work not only recovers costs but helps reduce future damages through collaboration with state agencies, the 811 community, and contractor education.
Primary FunctionsAs a Utility Dispatch Representative
, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely, accurate, and safe response to utility damage incidents.
- Receive, interpret, prioritize, and respond to routine and emergency dispatch calls with speed and accuracy
- Assign calls to cable and telecommunications investigators and track case progress
- Monitor live status displays while managing inbound and outbound calls
- Maintain accurate call statuses, investigator locations, and dispatch updates
- Enter and retrieve data across multiple systems, including computer-aided dispatch platforms
- Process new damage reports involving power, gas, and electrical utilities, as well as insurance and citizen inquiries
- Complete claim entries using detailed damage and location information from field technicians
- Communicate through phone, email, and SMS, adapting quickly to changing conditions
- Coordinate responses to weather events, safety hazards, and territory-specific needs
- Escalate dispatch issues appropriately to the Field Manager
- Meet productivity, quality, and performance expectations as defined by Auxillium and the client
- Perform additional related duties as needed to support operational success

Qualifications- High school diploma, equivalent, or currently enrolled in high school
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Comfort using web-based databases and dispatch systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Clear, professional speaking voice
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a high-volume environment
- Dependability, punctuality, and attention to detail

- Pay: $15.16 per hour
