• summary: the chief financial officer (cfo) is responsible for overall financial operations of the agency, including: accounts payable, account receivable, preparation of financial statements, compliance and financial analysis, development and maintenance of annual budget, and long-range financial projections. Responsibilities include staff training and supervision and the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural issues and documents. The chief financial officer must keep current on all laws, regulations, policies, and procedures as they relate to the assigned areas of supervision, and should communicate this information to management and staff when appropriate.
  
  The chief financial officer is also responsible for oversight of the agency’s finance department, information technology, quality enhancement (qe), internal investigations, grant writing, government relations work, belleview apartment complex, and other assigned departments or business enterprises (as needed), while focused on a person-centered environment. The chief financial officer must exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties.
• essential duties and minimum qualifications:
• oversee bookkeeping and accounting functions and supervise finance department staff, it staff, qe and lead investigator staff.
• maintain financial records and financial statements for the corporation and any related business enterprises, subsidiaries and housing boards.
• ensure financial records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (gaap), with appropriate internal controls.
• responsible for safeguarding individual funds and agency funds, which includes accounting for all revenues and expenses and related receipts and invoices and cash flows.
• oversee it network and it staff to keep the network running and safe.
• oversee quality enhancement functions and supervise quality enhancement staff to ensure departments are in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local rules and regulations, and provide quarterly trend analysis. The cfo will oversee the agency’s internal investigation process.
• pass the medication administration test with no more than two attempts and administer medication to individuals according to physician orders and using appropriate administration techniques as outlined in the medication administration course, if needed.
• must be able to perform lifting and transferring techniques as trained and pass performance testing. The employee may occasionally lift and/or push and pull up to 50 lbs. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement.
• driving of agency vehicles as necessary for transportation of individual and agency business as assigned.

• able to regularly sit, walk, stand, climb up and down stairs, physically restrain clients pursuant to training (when necessary) and sit at a computer for long periods of time and repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times (typing, data entry).
