We are seeking a detail‑oriented, skilled, and dependable Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our Laboratory Department in La Junta, Colorado. Located just east of the Rocky Mountains, AVRMC proudly serves southeastern Colorado by providing high‑quality healthcare close to home.

Position Summary As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will perform diagnostic testing and specimen analysis under the supervision of the Clinical Laboratory Manager. You will ensure accurate reporting of results, maintain laboratory equipment and quality standards, and support optimal patient care across all populations. This is a Full‑Time position.

• Perform specimen analysis for diagnostic purposes under supervision
• Process specimens across multiple lab areas including Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and Microbiology
• Enter and verify test results accurately in the Meditech system
• Report critical (panic) values to providers within required time frames
