The B&W Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the black and white production processes within our facility, ensuring that all operations meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards. This position is responsible for managing a team of technicians and operators, coordinating workflow, and maintaining equipment to optimize output. The supervisor will implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

They will also serve as a key liaison between management and production staff, facilitating clear communication and timely resolution of issues. Ultimately, the B&W Supervisor ensures that all black and white production activities align with company goals and regulatory requirements, contributing to overall operational success.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in production or manufacturing preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of black and white production processes and related equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and quality control standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Management, or related field.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in using production management software and data analysis tools.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role specifically within black and white or photographic production.
• Certification in safety management or production supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily black and white production operations, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Manage, train, and evaluate production staff to maintain high performance and compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Implement process improvements and monitor key performance indicators to drive efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality assurance, logistics, and management to meet production targets and resolve operational challenges.
