School-Based Social Worker - La Mesa, California

• California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential required
• Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential required
• Full professional fluency in Spanish and English
• Previous experience as a school social worker or in educational settings preferred
• Deep understanding of early elementary (TK-5) child development and family systems
• Strong communication, cultural competence, and collaboration skills

• Provide direct social emotional, behavioral, and mental health support to students in both Spanish and English
• Conduct group and individual counseling for students, responding to academic, social, and emotional challenges
• Serve as a liaison between families, school staff, and community organizations
• Participate in student assistance programs and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Develop and implement intervention and prevention strategies tailored to at-risk students
• Advocate for equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices within the school
• Support teachers and staff by offering resources and consultation for classroom management and crisis response
