Senior Staff Accountant

Position Summary

The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of the general ledger, the accurate and timely reporting of monthly financial statements, and cash flow and daily cash processing and analysis.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Performs financial analyses, journal entries, and/or reports such as bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, accruals etc. with minimal supervision.
• Designs, creates, and/or substantially modifies those same items
• Researches and analyzes simple to moderately complex accounting issues to determine the appropriate accounting treatment with minimal supervision
• Provides analysis and reporting of such issues to management
• Processes all banking transactions: wires, bank transfers, ACH transfers, etc.
• Prepares and maintains cash forecasts
• Maintains, processes and records all rent and lease-related journal entries, schedules, payments, etc.
• Interacts directly with managers in analyzing financial and budget-to-actual data

Education/

Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B.

A. or

B. S.) or equivalent from four-year college in Accounting or Finance.

3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have strong system skills including experience with a large ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle or SAP.

Excellent PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel required.

The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.

Compensation: $25.35 - $32.95

Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members.

Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy.

Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
