Job Overview

Shipping and Receiving Clerk – Siemens, La Mirada, CA. Full‑time permanent position with IBEW Local 1710. Shift: alternate Monday‑Friday 10:00 am–6:30 pm. Hourly rate: $17.00 plus a $0.45 shift differential.

• Picks and packs materials for assembly or shipment; breaks down pallets; sorts and separates material.
• Unloads material from incoming trailers and places it in staging areas.
• Stocks and maintains accurate inventory levels.
• Uses SAP for receipts, transfers, and shipping transactions.
• Initiates scrap tickets to generate part replacement orders; discards scrap or defective materials that are not serviceable.
• Operates and maintains forklift and other powered or manual material lifting/handling equipment for loading and unloading trailers.

• Minimum one year of experience performing shipping and receiving.
• Willingness to learn all equipment operated in the facility and to follow established processes.
• Ability to lift parts or sub‑assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
