We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fleet Manager to join our Construction team. This is a permanent position with a focus on managing our extensive fleet of heavy construction equipment. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management, with a minimum of 5 years' experience, particularly in the construction industry. This role requires a hands‑on approach, strategic planning, and the ability to effectively manage and optimize fleet operations.

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of our fleet of heavy construction equipment.
• Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and longevity.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to fleet operations.
• Develop and implement strategies for fleet replacement and disposal.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure equipment availability and readiness for all construction projects.
• Manage the selection, purchasing, and registration of new equipment.
• Monitor fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and overall fleet efficiency.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives related to fleet management.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless fleet operations.
• Provide regular reports on fleet operations to senior management.

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in fleet management, preferably within the construction industry.
• Proven experience managing a large fleet of heavy construction equipment.
• In‑depth knowledge of local, state, and federal fleet regulations.
• Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment operation, maintenance, and repair.
• Exceptional organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to identify cost‑saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and related technology.
• A degree in Business Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
